Fully Automatic Machine for Concrete Paver Production

The T18 Concrete Products Making Machine combines advanced German technology with QGM’s intelligent manufacturing expertise to meet the production requirements of modern concrete products manufacturers. Designed around automated operation, stable forming performance, and reliable machine operation, the T18 supports the production of a wide range of concrete products.

Its material compatibility allows manufacturers to utilize various industrial solid waste materials, including metallurgical waste, construction and demolition waste, mining waste, steel slag, coal gangue, fly ash, and furnace slag. These materials can be used to manufacture concrete blocks, kerbstones, imitation stone PC pavers, paving blocks, and permeable pavers.

The resulting products serve a variety of applications, including building construction, municipal engineering, sponge city projects, landscape architecture, and infrastructure development. With its automated production capabilities and adaptable forming technology, the T18 provides an integrated solution for concrete block and paver manufacturing.

Technical Advantages

1. Four-Axis Servo Vibration for Controlled Concrete Compaction

The T18 uses a four-axis servo vibration system to control the vibration process during concrete product forming. Four servo motors independently drive four eccentric shafts through flexible couplings, allowing precise synchronization. The symmetrical shaft arrangement helps counteract horizontal vibration forces while generating strong, stable vertical vibration.

The eccentric angle can be adjusted to regulate vibration force continuously from 0° to maximum amplitude. This allows vibration parameters to be matched to different product types and concrete mix designs, supporting product density, forming quality, and production stability.

2. Air Bag Mould Clamping for Fast, Accurate Changeovers

An air bag mould clamping system uses pneumatic air springs to secure and release the mould. Compared with conventional mechanical clamping systems, this arrangement provides rapid response, evenly distributed clamping force, and accurate mould positioning.

Secure mould fixation during vibration helps maintain forming stability, while the quick-locking and release process reduces mould changeover time.

3. Quick-Lock Tamper Head with Coordinated Vibration

The T18 tamper head features an air bag quick-lock mechanism for convenient installation, removal, and secure fixation. This design simplifies maintenance procedures and helps reduce downtime during tamper head servicing or replacement.

Vibration motors mounted on both sides of the tamper head operate in coordination with the main vibration system. Their combined action supports uniform concrete compaction, helping achieve consistent product density, dimensional accuracy, and surface finish.

4. Automatic Mould Changing for Flexible Product Manufacturing

The automatic mould changing device handles mould insertion, positioning, and removal, reducing reliance on conventional manual changeover procedures.

By streamlining mould replacement, the system helps shorten changeover time and improve machine utilization. It also allows production to switch between different concrete product types more efficiently, subject to the moulds and configurations used.

5. Hydraulic Bottom Feeding for Uniform Mould Filling

The hydraulically driven bottom material feeding system regulates cylinder speed and feeding force to control how concrete enters the mould cavities. Controlled material delivery helps distribute the mix more evenly throughout the mould.

Smooth, regulated feeding helps reduce material blockage, leakage, and uneven distribution. Consistent mould filling supports product quality and helps maintain continuity during concrete block and paver production.

6. 360° Rotary Anti-Arching for Consistent Material Flow

The T18 material feeder incorporates a 360° rotary anti-arching system powered by an independent geared motor. Wear-resistant mixing blades rotate continuously in coordination with the feeding process to promote material movement.
Compared with conventional swing-type or vibration-type anti-arching devices, the rotary design is intended to address material dead zones, bridging, and blockages that can interrupt feeding. Its modular construction also allows worn blades to be replaced quickly. Smooth operation, low noise, reduced wear, and extended service life are additional design characteristics of the system. Its modular design allows quick replacement of wear-resistant blades while providing smooth operation, low noise, reduced wear, and extended service life.

7. Integrated Hydraulic Power Unit for Simplified Maintenance

The T18 integrates its hydraulic power supply, control components, and oil circuits into a compact hydraulic power unit. This arrangement supplies hydraulic power to the machine while reducing the need for external piping and connections.

Compared with a split hydraulic layout, the integrated design helps simplify system maintenance and reduce potential leakage points. Stable hydraulic pressure and responsive actuation support reliable machine operation, while the system is designed for low energy consumption and continuous production.
